
JAPANESE LITERATURE MAJOR
A variety of highly evaluated Japanese literature courses taught by excellent professors
•Our targets of study cover ancient, medieval, and modern Japanese literature. It is possible for students to study ancient writings, traditional Japanese poetry, Japanese legends, modern prose and verse, Japanese linguistics, and Chinese classics. Few graduate schools in Japan have such a variety of courses.
•In 2007, we established a course in which master's degree students who want to become teachers can receive a special teaching license.
