Department of Child Development Studies
This major is for students who want to become teachers in elementary schools. We train specialists to have a deep understanding of the problems of families and society, giving them skills to deal with various issues appropriately. Students can obtain licenses as teachers in kindergarten, as librarians, and as English teachers in elementary schools (J-SHINE license).

Major in Early Childhood Education
This major is for students who want to become teachers in nursery schools and kindergartens. We aim at bringing up educators who have a warm heart towards children, who can teach about traditional culture, and who can help create a new children's culture. Students learn various forms of expression such as music, modeling and language. They also become specialists who can cultivating children's originality and creativity.
